TOP OF THE SHOPS!

Class 6W have been looking at clothes throughout the decades.

They looked at many weird and wacky designs and then created some of their own! 

The moto from the 1940's was 'make do and mend' so they created their own fashionable garments  made with old t-shirts and fabric paints.

 

DSC01278.JPGThe bottom of fizzy pop bottles were painted and they then created our own patterns. 

Jack printed football designs on his t-shirt. 

 

'Extra special' features were added too to make them a little more jazzy!!

Pockets from old jeans were cut out and purses were created!

Knitting was very popular during the war so we even gave that a go too!
