Gardening club is continuing this term.
What has been going on?
Some of us were very shocked at how much had grown over the holidays!
Last week we planted some sweetcorn and marrows for the greenhouse.
Some of us worked in pairs to plant peas straight into the ground as the ground and weather are now warm enough for seeds to grow and hopefully survive.
We also transplanted some lettuce which we had grown from seed.
We are hoping that the Chopwell rabbits don't gobble them all up!
There was also much more weeding to be done.
It seems to be never ending but at least we will all have much stronger muscles at the end of it.
There will be opportunities to buy produce from the garden at the upcoming Sports Day and Summer Fayre - fingers crossed!
We desperately need to make some money to put in the gardening pot, so we hope you will support us!
