During the Summer Topic; Going for Gold, R1M had the opportunity to create their very own Olympic Medals using clay.  First of all the children designed their own Olympic medals.  Next they rolled and shaped the clay.  Finally when the clay was dry, the children painted the medals.  The whole experience was a lot of fun and very messy.  The medals looked stunning with the glittery paint.
