Week 1 - We're Going on a Bear Hunt 

Go for a walk in our beautiful woods...Think about the story...What can you see? What can you hear? What does the ground feel like under your feet? 

Could you collect some Autumnal objects to explore at home? You could create some artwork, add them to playdough to make some Woodland creatures, or add them to a bag and see if you can guess what you can feel. 

Week 2 - Dinosaurs Love Underpants 

This week, the children have chosen some activities they would like to do linked to our story. Please add any pictures to Evidence Me...

1. Design a pair of wonderful underpants for the Dinosaurs.

2. We have been looking at matching in Maths this week. Design a pair of matching socks to keep the Dinosaur's feet cozy! 

3. If you have Dinosaurs at home, set up a Dino land and have some fun playing with the Dinosaurs or retelling the story. 

Week 3 - Rumble in the Jungle 

This week, the children have chosen some activities they would like to do linked to our story. Please add any pictures to Evidence Me...

1. Look at the Jungle picture on page 2. What animals can you see hiding in the trees? You could also play 'I spy...'

2. Learn and sing the song 'Down in the Jungle...'

3. Make a Jungle picture, or an animal mask. Be as creative as you can, using lots of different materials, patterns and textures. 

Week 4 - The Gruffalo 

This week, the children have chosen some activities they would like to do linked to our story. Please add any pictures to Evidence Me...

1. Go for a walk in the Woods, see if you can spy any of the animals from the story...hopefully you won't run into the Gruffalo!! 

2. Make a mask of one of the characters in the story. 

3. Make some Gruffalo crumble.
