Head Teacher's Welcome.

I am delighted to welcome you to our school website- it aims to give a flavour of life here at Chopwell Primary as well as providing any important information you may need.

As Acting Headteacher I am extremely proud of our school.  Having worked at the school for many years,  it is a pleasure to be able to continue to provide the best for the families here.

I have the privilege of leading a dedicated and enthusiastic team of teachers, teaching assistants and admin staff;  we strive to provide high quality teaching and learning for all within a safe, supportive, stimulating and happy environment, enabling everyone to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. As a school, we have designed a curriculum that meets the needs of our pupils: our ethos is to build confident, independent learners who have a place in the world beyond the school gates.  

We operate an open door policy, recognising the impact that working with parents has on a child’s education. We welcome parents and carers into school as often as possible and value your input.
