Welcome to Year 1
Hello and a big welcome to our Y1 page! This term so far has been a great success, the children appear to have enjoyed their time off over Christmas and they have come back into class ready to go. This half term we are looking at 'Intrepid Explores' and already I have had some amazing pictures drawn. This topic seems to have sparked their imagination so I look forward to sharing with you the work produced by them all.

Important Information
Phonics Books need to be returned every Thursday. Please encourage children to read their phonics book every day if possible.
Maths Homework Book - please work on your child's current Maths target. Books need to be returned every Thursday and a new target will be added if needed.
Children have logins for Numbots and Spelling Shed. They should access these every week as part of their homework. Their login details can be found at the back of their Maths Homework Books.
Numbots - the aims is 15 minutes per week.
Spelling Shed - the aim is 8 games per week.
PE is on a Wednesday. Please ensure children bring to school a suitable PE kit.
